Thank you. I very much enjoyed this article. NFTs and cryptocurrency are difficult concepts to grasp. It’s hard to see any value in these assets which feel imaginary. I’ll follow the advice of not investing in something I don’t completely understand.

Great article! Still unsure why anyone views NFTs as a solid investment. Can you do an article on SPACs and the recent inflation and crash of investing in these pre-merger companies?

Interesting article on something I didn't know much of anything about!

Great article. I’d love to see an article or video content on how and what the guidance/napkin math would be related to retiring and not drawing down principal? Or maybe only draw down 50% of principal?

Thank you Daniel for writing and posting this article. Like Brandon below, I feel because I really don't understand this "fad", I'll pass on investing... Unless there is an artist I can help support. Great post.

Well said, Daniel! I definitely agree that a lot of these NFT's are not solid long-term investments.

However, as someone who is minting NFT's and pretty involved in the space, I truly believe the value of NFT's as a concept is here to stay.

I think the true value that NFT's have created is the ability to create unique digital items. You can copy a photo and it's the exact same thing, but not if the photo was an NFT.

The stuff like CryptoPunks are probably just fads (maybe not) but I think the underlying technology will be huge. I've been creating NFT's for my fiction stories personally in hopes that one-day books will be sold as NFT's, creating a space for used digital books, and more royalty options for writers. But there are so many things I can see NFT's used for. You could utilize them to create digital ID's, passports, or even legal docs/contracts. We're probably far away from that, though.
